New Social Distancing Requirements in Effect at The Ruddy Potato (& New Hours)

An update from the Ruddy Potato:

In an effort to provide a more effective way to maintain physical distancing in the store, effective today, Saturday, April 25th, the Ruddy Potato we be routing our shoppers through the store in a one-way traffic flow.

The entrance to the store will now be through the Café door only. We will have taped lines along the floor directing our shoppers through the store in a specific flow. Shoppers will be routed to shop potato chips, coffee/tea freezer section. Shoppers will be routed through the meat, cheese, bread section then Health, beauty and housewares. The flow will go around the cashier and on through the produce section, bulk, dairy and frozen treats. As you approach the queue to pay, you will have the opportunity to shop for your canned, dried and baking supplies. To help support our efforts to improve physical distancing, we ask that you arrive with your shopping list read, and follow the new one-way flow though the store.

Another change you will soon be aware of is that starting Monday, April 27th, the store will be closing early on Monday and Thursday in order to stock incoming products. On these 2 days, which are our biggest delivery days, the store will close at 6pm and our staff will get the incoming products out for you at night so we don’t crowd the aisles and compromise physical distancing.

Thank you so much for your continued support as we implement changes as necessary.
